Welcome to AIS ONLINE.

International students can begin their academic journey from their home country with our ONLINE certificates in Business Administration and English Language. You can equip yourself with the skills necessary to then pursue tertiary study in New Zealand or elsewhere. Designed to fit around international time zones, you will receive face-to-face time with your teachers, personal guidance, and support. No visa is required and you will save on living costs and travel expenses while gaining valuable knowledge and an internationally recognised qualification.

NZCEL ONLINE

Online New Zealand Certificate in English Language (Academic) (Level 4) (Level L5)

Our 14-week, full-time academic pathway programmes helps students become successful independent learners so that they are better equipped for tertiary studies in New Zealand and beyond.

The programmes consist of four integrated courses to develop skills:

•  Listening in an academic context;
•  Speaking in an academic context;
•  Reading in an academic context;
•  Writing in an academic context.

Appropriate materials will support each course.

Regular assessments will measure what students learn throughout each course.

Classes are taught face to face daily and are scheduled to comfortably fit international time zones. Teachers will regularly discuss their progress with students, and provide detailed guidance on any aspect of the course where necessary.

PGCBA ONLINE

Online Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration (Level 8)

Our Online/Offshore PGCBA offers four courses that will allow you to gain 60 credits in six months. You may* continue your study in New Zealand to achieve further Postgraduate or Masters qualifications or you can also apply for cross-credits when pursuing other qualifications offered internationally.

The programme consists of four integrated courses to develop skills:

•  MKTG801 Marketing and Enterprise
•  ACCT801 Accounting for Managers
•  BUAD801 Decision Support Tools and Techniques
•  MGMT801 Management in a Multicultural Environment

How do I attend class?

• You can join the classes delivered in New Zealand using MS Teams and participate in the discussions with classmates and your teacher and/or you can watch a recording at a time suitable for you.
• Online students will also have supplementary classes. The days and times for these additional classes will be agreed between students and AIS staff.
• Teachers will regularly discuss your progress with you and provide support and detailed guidance.
• This flexible study option gives you access to AIS library resources and IT support.
• All assessments are individual assignments.

What will I study?

• You can begin the PGCBA in September 2021, with subsequent courses beginning in November, January and March 2022.
• Classes will run from five to seven and half hours and are held on a Saturday or Sunday (five or six weekend days per course). The supplementary group/individual sessions of approximately 10 hours per course will run at other times suitable for your time zone.

You may* continue your study in New Zealand to achieve:

Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) (Level 8)
Master of Business Administration (MBA) (Level 9)
