Study Buddies Programme for Undergraduate and Graduate Students

Study Buddies are current AIS St Helens students who make themselves available on a voluntary basis to help other students with their academic studies. They are high-achieving, senior-level students who can support you in the successful completion of your courses, and help you achieve your academic goals. Participation in the Study Buddy programme is free and is open to all enrolled AIS St Helens students.

The Study Skills Advisor personally visits classes, and especially those at undergraduate Stage I level, to explain the Study Buddy programme and the support it can provide. New students will receive information on the programme on their orientation day.

Study Buddies can provide support, advice and explanations of technical-related questions, and can help you understand concepts and theories, organise your thinking, structure your written and practical work, avoid plagiarism, and reference properly. Study Buddies WILL NOT complete your assignments for you.

See posters at the Main and Asquith campuses, library and dormitory for dates, times, subjects and venues of study buddy groups.

If you would like to volunteer as a Study Buddy, please contact:
