1.020 English for Academic Purposes I (EAP I)
This is a full-time 12 week course designed as a primer to EAP II and aims to introduce concepts necessary for success in internally assessed tertiary programmes. EAP I includes an introduction to academic-style listening, speaking, writing, research and presentations.
This course also provides strong preparation for taking the AIS St Helens TEP test.
Increasing vocabulary is a key aim of the course and students are required to purchase the two 2000 word AIS St Helens Word List books (NZD $15.00 each).
